What you should know about the PI's mentoring style before deciding to join the group

Juner has proven himself an Ideator with clear visions in the areas of energy storage, applied mechanics, and data-driven methods. He is also a Connector who is able to link his mentees to world-leading collaborators and industrial partners.

Juner thinks how Sherlock Holmes described John Watson precisely applies to himself:

"It may be that you are not yourself luminous, but that you are a conductor of light. Some people (Watson/Juner) without possessing genius have a remarkable power of stimulating it."

Research Assistant (2 openings)

Intern & Undergraduate trainee

Juner has very strong connections with automotive, battery, consumer electronics, and technical consulting companies over the globe. He has successful experiences in recommending candidates to tech giants such as Apple and Tesla for summer interns or full-time jobs.

Northeastern undergraduates planning for Co-Ops or internships are particularly welcome to reach out for training or advice!

Juner is organizing the Battery Sustainability Workshop on the Boston campus of Northeastern. It will be a great opportunity for students to talk to the industrial partners (by 10/01/2022, registrations have been received from A123, Apple, AVL, Cummings, Exponent, FM Global, Hyundai, Murata, NREL, Rogers, Saint-Gobain, Toyota North America & Toyota Research Institute).

Visiting

Visiting scholar/student positions are always open. Please send your CV and a short research plan to Juner (j.zhu@northeastern.edu).
